What I propose today is because of my professional and personnal experience for more than forty years. A classic profil is of course available here on LinkedIn but why not looking at it from a different angle?
Here is a path that started early in my life whith the very same red threads unrolling along the way…
BE CURIOUS
I’m at school in Belgium with Italian, Spanish, Moroccan and French pupils. Going to their home and family open my horizon and I discover fascinating cultures without travelling thousands of miles. A few years later, the virus gets in and I become passionate about foreign languages, learning up to 6 of them at the same time, it’s a game! Japanese lessons are with a pianist from Osaka who prepares fantastic home made sushis, long before the low cost Japanese snacks come in town.
10 YEARS OLD
MANAGE PEOPLE
I create a French play with friends: from rehearsals to posters printing and signing the contract with the theater, I’ve learned a lot by doing! I finally choose to study law instead of arts. Elected as Head of the Student Union, I enjoy organizing the student activities and service to my colleagues. This first experience in team management teaches me to listen before implementing my own ideas.
20 YEARS OLD
LIVE THE BUSINESS FROM THE INSIDE
After taking an MBA that helps me understand the companies from within and confirms my attraction to the entrepreneurship and Human ressources, I settle down in Paris and faces an unexpected cultural choc with the French culture! I travel extensively to support teams in Europe and learn to recruit, develop, reward and communicate with engaged employees for a strong and beautiful brand.
30 YEARS OLD
CONTRIBUTE TO A POSITIVE COMPANY
I keep on develop my HR competencies every day with demanding and fascinating teams. I build my family, test some management models with my children and improve my time management skills. I also deploy international projects, bring the digital dimension to my HR topics and become a certified internal trainer in order to effectively support the development of the employees. I also find back the time to create, draw and free my creativity to nourish my personal balance and manage stress.
